Observing with the Galileoscope

The Galileoscope's optics are much better than what Galileo had. You will get stunning views of craters on the Moon, the phases of Venus, Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings. You can explore the wonders of the Pleaides, the Orion Nebula and many other objects.

Our observing guide will help get you started with some observing basics and tips on how to find many of the best objects in the sky. You can find out when the Moon's different phases occur, when the various planets are visible, and a list of fine nebula and star clusters to view. As you get to be a more experienced observer, there is an extensive list of observing resources that you can explore.
